Let Go and Let GOD

Just want to share to all of you the devotion I had this morning (It was actually dated yesterday but I had it switched for today. Long story.) Really, really nice one.

IF YOU LOVE SOMEONE…YOU WILL ALWAYS BELIEVE

IN HIM, ALWAYS EXPECT THE BEST OF HIM…’ 1

CORINTHIANS 13:7 TLB

Sometimes the best thing people who love us can do is to let go and let God.

Sometimes we’re glad of the space, the opportunity to grow up, to prove ourselves and

make our own way. Sometimes we wish they would step in and take away the

problems so we don’t have to face them.  Is someone you love trying to give

you and God the space you need? Are they trying to let go? Is there a

relationship or area in your life where you need to let

go?

Tolet go doesn’t mean to stop caring, it just means

you can’t do it for someone else. To let go is not

to cut yourself off from those you love, it’s the

realization that you don’t control the

m. To let go is to admit your powerlessness, which means the

outcome is not in your hands. To let go is not to try

and change or blame another, you can only

change yourself. To let go is not to judge, but to allow another

to be a human being. To let go is not to be in the middle arranging all

the outcomes, but to allow the other to make their own outcomes. To let go is

not to deny, but to accept. To let go is not to nag or argue, but to

search out your own shortcomings and correct them. To

let go is not to criticise and boss anyone around, but to try to

become what you dream you can be. To let go is

not to regret the past, but to grow and live for the

future. To let go is to fear less and love more. To let go

– is to let God!
